Dr. Harry C. Webster, NEPC Medical Director Harry Webster, MD, MPH

Since 1986, Dr. Harry Webster has been the Medical Director for New England Pediatric Care, and more recently as the Physiatrist-in-Chief at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Webster's oversees the care plans for residents at NEPC, with clinical specialties in Pediatric Rehabilitation and long-term care of chronically impaired children. Dr. Webster concurrently holds the positions of Chief of the Division of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Tufts-Medical Center/Floating Hospital for Children in Boston and as Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. He received his Medical Doctorate Degree from the University of California San Francisco Medical School and a Master's in Public Health from UC Berkley. He performed his post-graduate pediatric training at Children's Hospital Philadelphia and physiatry training at Tufts-Medical Center Boston. 

Dr. Chu Chen, MD

Dr. Chen has been an attending pediatrician at New England Pediatric Care since 1991, in addition to maintaining a full pediatric practice here in Billerica. 

Dr. Martha Lipshitz, MD

Dr. Lipshitz has been an attending physician for some of the young adult residents at NEPC for the past 10+ years. 

Dr. Kathleen Pitterle, DO

Dr. Pitterle continues the involvement of the Floating Hospital for children, in providing pediatric care to the residents of NEPC. Dr. Pitterle is currently in her second year as a fellow in developmental-behavioral pediatrics at the Center for Children with Special Needs.  She performed her post-graduate training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at

Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. 

Purushottam Gholve, MDPurushottam Gholve, MD, MBMS, MRCS
(people call him / as he calls himself – Puru )

The Orthopedic Department from the Floating Hospital for Children has been involved in running NEPC's orthopedic clinic for over 20 years. Most recently, Purushottam Gholve has been running a quarterly Orthopedic Clinic in conjunction with the Rehabilitation Dept. at NEPC.
