Admissions
NEPC operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The admission process is flexible to meet the needs of the child/family. NEPC offers post hospital rehabilitation, long term care and short term care including respite stays.
General admission processes include:

Services. You can also click here to contact us. - A screening appointment will be arranged to allow NEPC to become familiar with the child and their family and
to assess the child’s medical needs - Families will have the opportunity to tour our facility and ask any questions they may have
To apply for an admission to New England Pediatric Care your child must be:
- Younger than 22 years of age
- Meet developmental criteria as established by the Medical Review Team (Under 24 months for short term and
under 12 months for long term) - Must have 2 skilled nursing needs
- Examples include a gastrostomy tube, tracheotomy, continuous ventilation and/or a seizure disorder
which requires intervention

- Approved by the Medical Review Team for short-term care.
There are specific admission requirements for the following programs: Post-Hospitalization: Up to 90 days Short-Term Care: Up to 90 days Long-Term Care : 90 days +
